One Health Society participated at the National consultation workshop to identify, prioritize and recommend activities in the area of Antimicrobial Resistance to be included in the implementation of the Phase 2 by FAO in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar
The identification and prioritization of this activities was based on the challenges, recommendations and indicator scores outlined in the Joint External Evaluation (JEE) Report 2023, WHO JEE Benchmark, The FAO Progressive Management Pathway (PMP). Implementation of the Activities identified will cut across Multi-sectoral coordination on AMR, Surveillance of AMR, Prevention of multidrug resistant organism (MDRO) and Optimal use of antimicrobial medicines in animal health and agriculture sector
